Embedding a Culture of Pro Bono
All lawyers and staff are encouraged to be involved in pro bono matters throughout the year and pro bono work is given the same high standard of service and attention as client engagement.
The pro bono practice strategically focuses on access to justice, civil liberties and human rights, and environmental/climate change issues.
Appointed a Pro Bono Lead responsible for driving all initiatives and reporting regularly on progress
Incorporated pro bono work as creditable associate hours, up to a cap, and included pro bono work in performance evaluations
Become a signatory to The Law Society Charter for Pro Bono and endorsed the Joint Pro Bono Protocol
Become a member of the UK Collaborative Plan, which incorporates an aspirational target of 25 pro bono hours on average per fee-earner in the UK each year
