Jessica Tucker

Associate

Jessica’s practice focuses on financial and commercial litigation. She also has experience working on cross-border arbitration matters and has acted in disputes under the ICC rules, as well as acting investor side in an investor-state dispute.

Jessica maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes experience of representing survivors of domestic abuse in the family courts.

Prior to law school, Jessica supported the Crown Prosecution team at New Zealand’s largest litigation firm.

Litigation

Acting for a significant group of institutional investors in prospectus liability claim against Glencore plc, for amounts in excess of £2 billion.

Advising a large multinational energy company on global enforcement and climate change risk management.

Advising on a high-value group litigation claim in the oil and gas sector.

 

Arbitration

Advising on an Energy Charter Treaty claim against a State.

 

Pro Bono

Representing ClientEarth pro bono in ground-breaking legal action against Shell’s Board of Directors for their climate risk mismanagement, bringing the first ever case seeking to hold company directors personally liable for failing to properly prepare for the energy transition.
