On Thursday 21st September, we hosted a panel discussion entitled ‘Purpose Driven Pro Bono’ kindly organised by the InterLaw Diversity Forum.
Our Pro Bono Lead and Counsel Kimmie Fearnside participated in the webinar alongside Michael Herford, Founder and Managing Director of Legal Lifelines and Robert Powell, Director of Pro Bono and CSR at Weil. The panellists were joined by Daniel Winterfeldt MBE KC (Hon), Founder and Chair of the InterLaw Diversity Forum and Managing Director & General Counsel EMEA and Asia at Jefferies, who moderated the discussion.
The panellists discussed the importance of pro bono work in tackling pressing societal issues including climate change, social justice and inequality and the steps firms must take to support meaningful involvement in pro bono work.
