We are delighted to announce the promotions of Anastasia Cembrovska and Alessia de Quincey to Partner, effective 1 January 2026.
Based in New York, Anastasia has been with Pallas since 2022, specialising in complex commercial litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. She has extensive experience handling high-profile matters including creditor rights and adversary bankruptcy proceedings, antitrust class actions, white collar investigations, and contract disputes.
Anastasia’s recent notable work includes representing the 2034 Noteholders of Bombardier Inc. in litigation to collect a make-whole payment following a covenant breach and to invalidate a vote-rigging liability management exercise; acting for an ad hoc group of noteholders of Dutch retailer Hunkemöller International BV; representing a group of holders of floating rate subordinated notes due 2015 issued by Hellas II (the petitioners) in enforcing a circa US$1.5 billion judgment obtained against Hellas Telecommunications (Luxembourg) II; and representing Endo Litigation Trust in multi-billion dollar fraudulent conveyance action related to the pre-bankruptcy acquisition of an opioid manufacturer.
Anastasia was shortlisted for “Litigation Rising Star” at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2025.
Based in London, Alessia has been with Pallas since 2022 and is a Solicitor Advocate specialising in high-stakes commercial litigation, arbitration, and internal and regulatory investigations. Her recent cases include acting for a large group of holders in proceedings against the Swiss authorities, Credit Suisse and UBS in respect of the write-down of the AT1s and the merger between UBS and Credit Suisse; advising a global investment bank in relation to allegations of non-financial misconduct concerning FCA regulated persons; and representing the founder and CEO of a multinational company in a whistle-blowing investigation into allegations of misconduct.
Alessia also maintains an active pro bono practice and regularly appears as a Solicitor Advocate in the Chancery Division of the High Court on a pro bono basis, supporting the Chancery Litigant in Person Support Scheme (CLiPS). She is consistently recognised by the Bar Association and has been awarded the Pro Bono Champion Award for three consecutive years since 2023. Additionally, Alessia leads Pallas’s Women’s Employee Resources Group, which supports the development of female employees and raises awareness of key issues affecting women in the workplace. She is recommended in Legal 500 UK 2026 as a key lawyer for Banking Litigation, Financial Services (contentious), Corporate Crime and Investigations, and International Arbitration.
In addition, Andrew Breland, John McAdams and Brianna Simopoulos, all based in New York, together with London-based Louise Lau, have been promoted to Counsel, also effective 1st January 2026.
