To mark Pro Bono Week UK 2023, our counsel and pro bono lead Kimmie Fearnside and associate James Newton recorded a podcast with Olivia Tattarletti of Legal Response International and Eunice Asinguza, Legal Manager of Uganda’s National Environment Management Authority.
The panellists explored how pro bono legal assistance is effectively used to tackle climate change issues as well as more broadly in ESG matters. They also spotlighted the role that LRI plays in providing legal support and building the capacity of states in the context of international climate change negotiations, and the impact of that work on front line affected states.
