The UK Sanctions Regime has for the first time been tested at the Supreme Court by a sanctioned Russian billionaire. Eugene Shvidler was sanctioned back in March 2022 and after failing to overturn his designation at the English High Court and Court of Appeal, he has turned to the Supreme Court.
