Our Associate Ashley Mullen successfully represented a young individual in a pro bono case referred to Pallas from The Legal Aid Society. Our client was involved in a minor vehicle collision, which occurred in a rental vehicle, and resulted in the matter being referred to a debt collector who threatened to sue our client for $18,000 for allegedly not obtaining the correct insurance.
Our client frequently used the rental vehicle company as a means by which to visit his sisters, who are also in foster care.
As a result of a thorough investigation, the insurance company agreed to revoke the allegations made against our client who no longer faces thousands of dollars in liability.
